Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Mintu Automobiles, we are committed to providing transparent and customer-friendly services. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations are accepted and refunds are processed for any service booked at our workshop.

1. Service Cancellation

a) Before Work Begins

  • Customers may cancel a scheduled service before any work has commenced without incurring any cancellation charges.
  • If an advance payment has been made, it will be fully refunded, unless special parts or materials have already been sourced for the job.

b) After Work Has Started

  • If cancellation is requested after the work has begun, any costs related to:
    • Labour already completed
    • Parts or materials used or procured
      will be deducted from the advance payment.
  • Any remaining balance will be refunded.

2. Advance Payments

  • Advance payments are collected to confirm a booking and allocate resources.
  • Once work has started, advance payments are non-refundable.
  • For minor services (e.g., basic denting/painting), the advance secures your job slot and paint/part procurement.

3. Custom Jobs & Full Restoration Projects

  • For large-scale or custom projects (e.g., full-body painting, restoration of Maruti Gypsy), payments are milestone-based.
  • Once a phase of work is completed or custom materials are sourced, those amounts are non-refundable.
  • A signed agreement may be issued for such projects, detailing refund eligibility by stage.

4. Vehicle Pick-Up Delays

  • Customers are requested to collect their vehicle within 3 business days after being notified of service completion.
  • Beyond this period, a daily storage fee may be applicable.
  • No refunds are applicable for services already completed and inspected.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds (if any) will be processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be made via UPI, bank transfer, or original payment method.
  • Cash refunds are not issued for online or card payments.

6. No-Show or Last-Minute Cancellation

  • Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges or forfeiture of any prior advance.
